Established in October 2014, GN Reinsurance Company Limited which is a part of the GroupeNduom, was setup with the key objective to provide reinsurance support through competitive cover terms and conditions with deep technical support and training for our clients.

Today, history records the era of having one employee, and through challenging times to our well established business relationships today, strong partnerships across Africa and beyond providing capacity for the African insurance market.

Ten years in the life of a business is a significant milestone worth commemorating especially when you have been able to carve a good name for yourself – GN Re brand has become synonymous with prompt payment of claims in the market. Additionally, the company has consistently posted underwriting profits a panacea for creating value for our shareholders. As we mark this milestone, we note some of the uphill and downhill moments we that we have been through to this glory, and beautiful setup of a company that we see today.

It is important to note that the hard work and of the team girded by God has brought us this far. Our business has been driven by relationships built on our core values – Discipline; Customer Focus; Speed and Efficiency; Relationship and Team Building; Quality Service and Professionalism; and Hard work and Continuous Improvement.

As we reflect on the successes of the past ten years, we also look into the future with optimism and enthusiasm. We remain steadfast on our vision, which is to build a strong institution that supports its clients with products, technical services and a strong financial foundation to meet the challenges that confronts us in the insurance industry in Ghana and throughout the African region.

I take this opportunity to pay tribute to our visionary shareholders who put this vision together,the board, management, and staff (both past and present) who have diligently served GN RE over the ten year period.

To our valued cedants, partners and other stakeholders, we extend my heartfelt gratitude for your trust and support. Your belief in our business model has fueled our determination to excel. Going forward, we commit to uphold the highest standards of service and reliability.
